In 2013 a new watch company Roger Dubuis present another new series of Excalibur – Table Ronde. The creation of this model, the designers tried to revive the legend of the Round Table of King Arthur and his knights.
The watch dial is created by analogy with the picture of Winchester Round Table (Winchester Round Table), written in 1552. On an enamel disc shows a round table of King Arthur and the Tudor rose and diverging from the contrasting stripes.
As the hour markers are the 12 gold figurines of knights with swords uplifted to the center. 45 mm gold case with beveled edges perfectly emphasizes the dynamic design of the dial.
Hours Excalibur Table Ronde designed based on RD822 automatic movement with function display hours and minutes. Display of time by means of the central arrow.
The new “knightly” model completed with a black crocodile leather strap with a buckle from 18 K rose gold.
Presentation of the new items will be held at the forthcoming annual Salon of Haute Horlogerie SIHH 2013, to be held in Geneva in January next year.
