The new classical model 1966 Chronograph
Description:
Swiss watch manufacture Girard-Perregaux, which has always been the world exclusive watches, in April 2012 announced a new model in 1966 Chronograph.
Novelty is the latest addition to the collection of Girard-Perregaux 1966.
The collection was dedicated to the most important event in the history of watch manufacture: in 1966 the company introduced the first high-caliber mechanism Gyromatic HF 16 611, which provide exceptional accuracy. In 1967, 73% of the mechanisms that have received certification from the Neuchatel Observatory chronometer, were models from the company Gyromatic HF Girard-Perregaux.
Elegant restrained design of the model immediately attracts attention.
The new classical model 1966 Chronograph is presented in a circular enclosure with a diameter of 42 mm in 18-carat pink gold. Silvered dial features Arabic numerals and three central arrows, of which leaf hour and minute hands, as the figures are made of pink gold.
To enhance the classic design, the master of the company settled on a traditional chronograph with 60-second and 30-minute counter at the hour markers “3” and “9”, respectively, as well as a circular tachometer scale. In position “6:00” is a square aperture of date. This design makes it easy to dial without any difficulty to determine the time.
Protects the original dial sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The back of the model is also protected by sapphire glass, through which is seen manufactory caliber 3300-0057. The mechanism assembled by 57 precious stones, is equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve 46 hours.
