And ‘here! The “little monster”, a worthy successor to the Core All Black and the mythical X6 (the true precursor dell’Ambit: already ten years ago is interfaced with the PC to download the recorded data from its sensors, …) is finally in my hands!

Two versions on the market, the “Black” (the one I chose) and “Silver”, entrembe available with or without heart rate monitor (still sold at a later time).

Here is a brief summary of the available functions, taken directly from Suunto:

  • Cash is highly resistant
  • Battery life improved: approximate length in operation:
    1. Outdoor mode 50h – with longer intervals of the GPS devices, ideal for hiking
    2. Training mode 15h – GPS tracking with shorter intervals, suitable for running
    3. Clock mode 30 days – with clock function and ABC
  • Water resistant to 100 m / 328 ft (ISO 2281)
